Trichroic Tapestries

MUSÉE DES ARTS DÉCORATIF PARIS

Trichroic Tapestries is a series of contemporary tapestries that explore visual manifestations of refraction and lenticular effects in textile.

The project looks at the interaction of colours and creates an animated experience for viewers to experience as they walk around the 5 metre textile pieces. The tapestries hung in an ornate staircase from the ceiling of the old Louvre building at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris during Maison et Objet 2015.
